A multicolor bundt cake is a beautiful and delicious cake that's perfect for any occasion. Here's a recipe for making a multicolor bundt cake:

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • Food coloring (red, blue, green, and yellow)

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease and flour a bundt cake pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with the buttermilk, starting and ending with the flour mixture.
  6. Divide the batter evenly into 4 bowls. Add a different food coloring to each bowl and mix well until you achieve the desired color.
  7. Spoon the colored batters into the prepared bundt pan, alternating colors as you go.
  8. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
  9. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack and cool completely.
  10. Once the cake is cool, you can dust it with powdered sugar or glaze it with a simple powdered sugar and milk mixture.
