A multicolor bundt cake is a beautiful and delicious cake that's perfect for any occasion. Here's a recipe for making a multicolor bundt cake:
Ingredients:
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup buttermilk
- Food coloring (red, blue, green, and yellow)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease and flour a bundt cake pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with the buttermilk, starting and ending with the flour mixture.
- Divide the batter evenly into 4 bowls. Add a different food coloring to each bowl and mix well until you achieve the desired color.
- Spoon the colored batters into the prepared bundt pan, alternating colors as you go.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack and cool completely.
- Once the cake is cool, you can dust it with powdered sugar or glaze it with a simple powdered sugar and milk mixture.
