Instant Pot Rice
Instant Pot rice is a quick and easy way to make perfect rice every time. Here's a simple recipe you can try:
Ingredients:
- 2 cups white rice
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 1 tablespoon butter (optional)
- Salt to taste
Directions:
- Rinse the rice in a fine mesh strainer under cold running water until the water runs clear. Drain the rice well.
- Add the rice, water, butter (if using), and salt to the Instant Pot.
- Lock the lid in place and set the valve to sealing position.
- Select the manual or pressure cook setting and set the cooking time to 3 minutes on high pressure.
- Once the cooking time is complete, allow the Instant Pot to release pressure naturally for 10 minutes, then use the quick release method to release any remaining pressure.
- Carefully remove the lid and fluff the rice with a fork.
- Serve the rice hot as a side dish or use it as a base for stir-fry, curry, or other dishes.
