A crackly brownie top is a desired characteristic for many brownie lovers. Here's a recipe to make brownies with a deliciously crackly top:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 1/4 cups unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
- Add the eggs to the bowl and whisk again until the mixture is smooth and glossy.
- Gradually add the all-purpose flour to the bowl, whisking until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the greased baking pan and spread it out evenly.
- Bake the brownies for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is shiny and crackly and a toothpick inserted into the center of the brownies comes out with a few moist crumbs attached.
