Cheesecake is a classic dessert loved by many. Here is a recipe for making a creamy baked cheesecake that is sure to please:

Ingredients: For the crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

For the filling:

  • 24 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Stir until the mixture is well combined.
  3. Press the crumb mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch springform pan.
  4. Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Remove it from the oven and let it cool while you prepare the filling.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until it is smooth and creamy.
  6. Add the sugar and vanilla extract to the bowl and beat until they are well combined.
  7. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  8. Mix in the sour cream until it is fully incorporated.
  9. Pour the cheesecake filling into the cooled crust.
  10. Bake the cheesecake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.
  11. Remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool to room temperature.
  12. Chill the cheesecake in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
