Potato nests are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or side dish that consists of shredded potatoes formed into small nests, filled with a variety of toppings, and baked until crispy. Here's a recipe for making potato nests:
Ingredients:
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and grated
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray
- Toppings of your choice (such as shredded cheese, cooked bacon or sausage, diced vegetables, etc.)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the grated potatoes, flour, beaten egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.
- Spray a muffin tin with cooking spray.
- Scoop the potato mixture into the muffin tin, pressing it into the cups to form small nests.
