Naga Chicken Tikka Curry

Naga Chicken Tikka Curry is a spicy and flavorful Indian curry that is perfect for those who love bold and intense flavors. Here is a recipe you can try:
Ingredients:
- 500g chicken breast, cut into bite-size pieces
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 1 tablespoon ginger paste
- 1 tablespoon garlic paste
- 2 tablespoons Naga chilli paste (adjust according to your spice preference)
- 1 tablespoon garam masala
- 1 tablespoon cumin powder
- 1 tablespoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup tomato puree
- 1/2 cup water
- Fresh coriander leaves, chopped, for garnish
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, mix together the yogurt, ginger paste, garlic paste, Naga chilli paste, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and salt.
- Add the chicken pieces to the bowl and coat them with the marinade. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (205°C). Thread the chicken pieces onto skewers and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
- In a large pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the chopped onions and sauté until they are soft and translucent.
- Add the tomato puree and water to the pan and stir well. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 10-15 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
- Add the cooked chicken pieces to the pan and stir well. Let the curry simmer for 5-10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or naan bread.
Note: Naga chilli paste is a very hot spice, so adjust the amount according to your personal spice tolerance. If you can't find Naga chilli paste, you can substitute it with other hot chilli paste.
