Easy Apple Cookies

A recipe for easy apple cookies:

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium apples, peeled and grated
  • 2 cups of rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup of almond butter
  • 1/4 cup of maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 cup of raisins (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the grated apples, rolled oats, almond butter, maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
  3. If you want to add raisins, fold them into the mixture.
  4. Scoop a heaping tablespoon of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. Flatten each cookie slightly with the back of a spoon.
  5. Bake the cookies for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown on the edges.
  6. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. Serve and enjoy your delicious and healthy apple cookies!

Note: These cookies are best eaten within a few days, but can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
