Easy Apple Cookies
A recipe for easy apple cookies:
Ingredients:
- 2 medium apples, peeled and grated
- 2 cups of rolled oats
- 1/2 cup of almond butter
- 1/4 cup of maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 cup of raisins (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the grated apples, rolled oats, almond butter, maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
- If you want to add raisins, fold them into the mixture.
- Scoop a heaping tablespoon of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. Flatten each cookie slightly with the back of a spoon.
- Bake the cookies for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown on the edges.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Serve and enjoy your delicious and healthy apple cookies!
Note: These cookies are best eaten within a few days, but can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
