Shrimp and broccoli in garlic butter sauce is a tasty and easy-to-make dish that's perfect for a quick and healthy meal. Here's a simple recipe:
Ingredients:
- 1 lb raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 head broccoli, cut into florets
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup white wine (optional)
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions:
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the broccoli florets and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until tender-crisp. Remove the broccoli from the skillet and set aside.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until pink and opaque.
- Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- Add the garlic to the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant.
- Add the butter, chicken broth, and white wine (if using) to the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.
- Add the shrimp and broccoli back to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic butter sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve hot.
