Sweet rice fritters are a delicious dessert or snack that can be enjoyed anytime. Here's a simple recipe:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup glutinous rice flour
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the glutinous rice flour, all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
- Add the water, milk, and egg to the dry ingredients and mix until the batter is smooth.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a deep frying pan or pot over medium heat.
- Once the oil is hot, use a spoon or small scoop to drop the batter into the oil, making small fritters. Fry for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
