Ingredients:
- 12 slider buns
- 1 pound sliced turkey breast
- 6 slices of cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or your choice)
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the slider buns in half horizontally, keeping them connected. Place the bottom half in a baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard. Spread this mixture evenly over the bottom half of the slider buns.
- Layer the turkey slices evenly over the mustard-mayo spread.
- Place the cheese slices on top of the turkey, covering it completely.
- Place the top half of the slider buns over the cheese to create sandwiches.
- In another small bowl, mix together the melted butter, chopped parsley (if using), garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
- Brush the butter mixture over the top of the slider buns, making sure to cover each bun.
- Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the sliders are heated through.
- Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 5 minutes to allow the tops of the buns to become golden and slightly crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let the sliders cool for a few minutes.
- Cut the sliders along the pre-cut lines to separate them into individual servings.
- Serve the Turkey and Cheese Sliders warm. They can be enjoyed as a delicious snack, party appetizer, or even as a quick meal.
