BBQ chicken wings
INGREDIENTS
- 1.5kg of chicken wings
- 25g (3 tbsp) of cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp of chili pepper
- 2 tsp of smoked paprika
- 2 tsp of garlic powder
- 1 1/2 tsp of salt
- Pepper
- Vegetable oil
Sauce:
- 100g (1/2 cup) of hot sauce
- 40g (2 tbsp) of honey
- 80g (1/4 cup) of butter
- Salt
METHOD
1. In a mixing bowl add the cornstarch, chili pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper and mix. Add the chicken wings and cover them well with the mixture pressing with your hands.
2. Transfer the chicken wings to the baking tray covered with parchment paper and sprinkle with vegetable oil. Transfer to the oven and bake at 190°C/374°F for 50 minutes.
3. Meanwhile prepare the sauce by adding the hot sauce, honey, butter, and salt into the saucepan.
4. Transfer the baked chicken wings to the bowl and pour the sauce over them. Mix them to cover well.
5. Serve chicken wings on the plate with the salad.
