Cheesy Chicken Nachos
Cheesy chicken nachos are a delicious and satisfying snack or appetizer that are perfect for game day or movie night. Here's a recipe you can try:
Ingredients:
- 1 lb of boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of taco seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 bag of tortilla chips
- 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup of diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup of diced red onions
- 1/2 cup of diced jalapeños
- Sour cream and guacamole for serving
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the diced chicken to the skillet and season with taco seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Arrange the tortilla chips in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar cheese over the tortilla chips.
- Top the cheese with the cooked chicken, diced tomatoes, red onions, and jalapeños.
- Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
- Bake the nachos in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve the cheesy chicken nachos hot, garnished with sour cream and guacamole.
This recipe yields approximately 4-6 servings, depending on the portion size. You can also customize the toppings to your liking by adding black beans, corn, or cilantro. Enjoy!
