Ingredients

  • 120g (3/4 cup) of raisins
  • 60g (4 tbsp) of orange (juice)
  • 4g (1 tsp) of rum
  • 450g (3 3/4 cups) of all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1 tsp of allspice
  • 2/4 tsp of nutmeg
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 60g (2/4 cup) of sugar
  • 60g (2/4 cup) of light brown sugar
  • 7g of dry yeast
  • 130g (1/2 cup) of sour cream
  • 130ml (1/2 cup) of milk
  • Vanilla extract
  • 90g (6 tbsp) of butter
  • 1 orange (zest)
  • 1 beaten egg

For the cross:

  • 50g (2/3 cup) of all-purpose flour
  • 70ml (2/4 cup) of water
  • For brushing:
  • Egg + milk

For the glaze:

  • 1 tbsp of apricot jam
  • Vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp of water
