Coffee Mousse

Coffee mousse is a delightful and creamy dessert that combines the rich flavors of coffee with a light and airy texture.
Ingredients:
- 2 teaspoons instant coffee granules
- 1 tablespoon hot water
- 1 ½ cups heavy cream, chilled
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Dissolve the instant coffee granules in hot water and let it cool to room temperature.
- In a mixing bowl, whip the chilled heavy cream using an electric mixer on medium-high speed until soft peaks form.
- Gradually add the powdered sugar to the whipped cream while continuing to whip until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold in the cooled coffee mixture and vanilla extract into the whipped cream until well combined. Be careful not to overmix and deflate the mixture.
- Spoon the coffee mousse into serving glasses or bowls. You can use individual dessert glasses or one large bowl for a family-style presentation.
- Place the glasses or bowls in the refrigerator and let the coffee mousse chill for at least 2 hours, or until set.
- Before serving, you can garnish the coffee mousse with chocolate shavings or a dusting of cocoa powder for an extra touch of flavor and decoration.
- Serve the coffee mousse chilled and enjoy!
