Chilli Crisp Noodle

Chili Crisp Noodles are a delicious and spicy Chinese dish that combines noodles, chili oil, and a variety of toppings.
Ingredients:
- 8 ounces (225g) of noodles (such as ramen, udon, or egg noodles)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons chili crisp or chili oil (adjust the amount according to your spice preference)
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon black vinegar or rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Optional toppings: sliced green onions, chopped cilantro, sesame seeds, chopped peanuts, shredded chicken, or tofu
Instructions:
- Cook the noodles according to the package instructions until they are al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and stir-fry for about 1 minute until it becomes fragrant.
- Add the chili crisp or chili oil to the skillet and stir-fry for another minute.
- Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss them with the chili oil mixture until they are well coated.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, black vinegar, sesame oil, and sugar until well combined.
- Pour the sauce over the noodles and continue tossing them to evenly distribute the sauce.
- Cook the noodles for another 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are heated through.
- Remove the skillet from the heat and transfer the Chili Crisp Noodles to serving plates or bowls.
- Garnish with your preferred toppings such as sliced green onions, chopped cilantro, sesame seeds, chopped peanuts, shredded chicken, or tofu.
- Serve the Chilli Crisp Noodles hot and enjoy their spicy and flavorful goodness.
Note: Feel free to customize the recipe by adding vegetables or protein of your choice, such as sautéed bell peppers, carrots, mushrooms, or shrimp. You can also adjust the amount of chili crisp or chili oil to suit your preferred level of spiciness.
