Espresso Martini

Espresso Martini

The Espresso Martini is a popular cocktail that combines the rich flavors of coffee with the smoothness of vodka. It's a perfect choice for coffee and cocktail enthusiasts alike.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 ounces vodka
  • 1 ounce coffee liqueur (such as Kahlua)
  • 1 ounce freshly brewed espresso (cooled)
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup (optional, if you prefer a sweeter cocktail)
  • Ice cubes
  • Coffee beans (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Brew a fresh shot of espresso and allow it to cool. You can use a coffee machine, a Moka pot, or any other method you prefer.
  2. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
  3. Add vodka, coffee liqueur, cooled espresso, and simple syrup (if using) to the shaker.
  4. Shake the mixture vigorously for about 15-20 seconds. This helps chill the cocktail and creates a nice froth.
  5. Strain the contents of the shaker into a chilled martini glass.
  6. If desired, garnish the cocktail with a few coffee beans on top.
  7. Serve and enjoy your Espresso Martini!

Note: You can adjust the quantities of the ingredients to suit your taste preferences. Some variations of the Espresso Martini may include additional ingredients like chocolate liqueur or cream. Experiment with different ratios and ingredients to find your perfect version of this delightful coffee cocktail.
