White Fluffy Bread

White Fluffy Bread

Making a white fluffy bread at home is a delightful way to enjoy freshly baked bread with a soft and airy texture.

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups warm water
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, instant yeast, salt, and sugar. Mix well.
  2. Add the warm water and softened butter to the dry ingredients. Stir with a wooden spoon or use a stand mixer with a dough hook attachment to form a rough dough.
  3. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead it for about 10 minutes until it becomes smooth, elastic, and slightly sticky. If using a stand mixer, knead on low speed for the same amount of time.
  4. Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel or plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours until it doubles in size.
  5. Once the dough has risen, gently punch it down to release any air bubbles. Transfer it back to the floured surface and divide it into two equal portions.
  6. Shape each portion into a loaf by rolling the dough tightly and tucking the ends underneath. Place the shaped loaves in greased loaf pans.
  7. Cover the loaf pans with the kitchen towel or plastic wrap and let the dough rise for another 30-45 minutes until it reaches the top of the pans.
  8. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) while the dough is rising.
  9. Brush the tops of the risen loaves with milk, which will help them develop a golden crust.
  10. Bake the loaves in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes until they turn golden brown and sound hollow when tapped on the bottom.
  11. Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool in the pans for a few minutes. Then transfer the loaves to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.

Once the white fluffy bread has cooled, slice it and enjoy it as is or use it to make sandwiches or toast. This bread is perfect for spreading butter or your favorite toppings. Store any leftovers in an airtight container or freeze them for later use.
