Savory cake


  • 3 eggs
  • A pinch of salt
  • 100ml (1/2 cup) of vegetable oil
  • 100ml (1/2 cup) of milk
  • 50g (1/2 cup) of parmesan
  • 220g (1 3/4 cups) of flour
  • 10g (3/4 tbsp) of baking powder
  • 200g (1 cup) of cream cheese
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Mini mozzarella
  • Basil


1. In a bowl add the eggs, salt, oil, and milk and mix with the electric mixer. Add the parmesan, flour, and baking powder and continue mixing to combine all well together.

2. Pour the mixture into the tart mold (28cm - mold size) and level it up with a spatula. Transfer to the oven and bake at 180°C/360°F for 35 minutes.

3. After the base are ready transfer to the plate and spread the cream cheese. Arrange the cherry tomatoes, mini mozzarella, and basil.

4. Cut the savory cake into slices and serve.
