Strawberry Milk (Made with Fresh Strawberries)

Strawberry Milk (Made with Fresh Strawberries)

Fresh strawberry milk is a refreshing and sweet beverage that is perfect for enjoying during the strawberry season.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 2 cups milk (you can use dairy or plant-based milk of your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar, or to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Wash the fresh strawberries thoroughly and remove the stems. Slice the strawberries into smaller pieces.
  2. In a blender, combine the sliced strawberries, milk, sugar, and vanilla extract (if using). Blend until the strawberries are completely pureed and the mixture is smooth.
  3. Taste the strawberry milk and adjust the sweetness by adding more sugar if desired. Blend again briefly to incorporate any additional sugar.
  4. If you prefer a chilled strawberry milk, you can add a few ice cubes to the blender and blend until they are crushed and mixed into the milk.
  5. Once the strawberry milk is blended to your desired consistency, pour it into glasses or jars for serving.
  6. If desired, you can strain the strawberry milk through a fine-mesh sieve to remove any strawberry seeds or pulp. This step is optional, as some people enjoy the texture of the seeds in their milk.
  7. Serve the strawberry milk immediately. You can garnish with a fresh strawberry on the rim of the glass or add a dollop of whipped cream on top for extra indulgence.
  8. Enjoy the refreshing and creamy homemade strawberry milk!

Note: If you have any leftover strawberry milk, you can store it in the refrigerator for a day or two. Be sure to give it a good stir before serving as the mixture may separate slightly.
