Easy Strawberry Cake

  • 1 box of strawberry cake mix (plus ingredients mentioned on the box, such as eggs, oil, and water)
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, washed, hulled, and sliced
  • Whipped cream or cream cheese frosting for topping (optional)
  • Additional fresh strawberries for garnish (optional)


  1. Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the cake mix box.
  2. Prepare the strawberry cake batter according to the instructions on the box, combining the cake mix with the required amount of eggs, oil, and water. Mix well until smooth.
  3. Gently fold in the sliced strawberries into the cake batter.
  4. Grease and flour a cake pan or line it with parchment paper.
  5. Pour the cake batter into the prepared cake pan, spreading it evenly.
  6. Bake the cake in the preheated oven for the time specified on the cake mix box, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
