A Wonderfully Delicious Cake
For a wonderfully delicious cake, here's a recipe you can try:
Ingredients:
- 130 grams (1/2 cup) butter, softened
- 150 grams (3/4 cup) sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups + 1/4 cup (270 grams) all-purpose flour
- 1 + 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 20 grams cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon coffee powder
- 3/4 cup (170 ml) milk
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan of your choice (round or square).
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the salt and vanilla essence to the butter mixture and mix well.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the flour and baking powder.
- Gradually add the sifted dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk. Begin and end with the dry ingredients, mixing well after each addition.
- In a small bowl, mix the cocoa powder and coffee powder with a little bit of hot water to form a smooth paste. Add this paste to the cake batter and mix until well incorporated.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once the cake is cooled, you can frost it with your favorite frosting or enjoy it plain.
- Slice and serve the wonderfully delicious cake to delight your taste buds!
Note: You can get creative with the frosting by using chocolate ganache, cream cheese frosting, or any other frosting of your choice. Feel free to add additional toppings or decorations, such as sprinkles or fresh berries, to enhance the cake's presentation.
