No-Churn Ice Cream

No-Churn Ice Cream

No-churn ice cream is a simple and easy way to make homemade ice cream without the need for an ice cream maker. It typically involves a few basic ingredients and a simple mixing process.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy whipping cream using an electric mixer until stiff peaks form. This usually takes a few minutes.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the sweetened condensed milk mixture. Be careful not to overmix; you want to maintain the fluffy texture.
  4. Pour the mixture into a lidded container or a loaf pan. You can also add in any desired mix-ins at this stage, such as crushed cookies, chocolate chips, or fruit.
  5. Cover the container with a lid or plastic wrap and place it in the freezer.
  6. Allow the ice cream to freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight until it reaches a firm consistency.

Once the ice cream is frozen, it's ready to be enjoyed! You can serve it in bowls, cones, or make ice cream sandwiches with cookies. This basic recipe can be customized with various flavors and mix-ins to suit your taste preferences.
