Chilli Garlic Pasta

Chilli Garlic Pasta is a delicious and flavorful pasta dish that combines the heat of red chili flakes with the pungent aroma of garlic. It's a simple yet satisfying recipe that can be prepared quickly.
Ingredients:
- 8 ounces (225 grams) pasta (spaghetti or any other variety)
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4-5 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon red chili flakes (adjust according to your spice preference)
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving
- Fresh parsley or basil leaves, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet or pan over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic to the hot oil and sauté for 1-2 minutes until it turns fragrant and lightly golden, but be careful not to burn it.
- Add the red chili flakes, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper to the pan. Stir well to combine and let the flavors infuse into the oil for about 1 minute.
- Add the cooked pasta to the pan and toss it in the chili garlic oil until the pasta is evenly coated.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, to heat the pasta through.
- Remove from heat and taste the pasta. Adjust the seasoning if needed.
- Serve the Chilli Garlic Pasta hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley or basil leaves, if desired.
