Fluffy Naan
INGREDIENTS
- 500g (4 cups) of all-purpose flour
- 220g (1 cup) of yogurt
- 2g (½ tbsp) of fresh yeast
- 120ml (½ cup) of lukewarm milk
- 8g (½ tbsp) of salt
- 15g (1 tbsp) of sugar
- Hazelnut cream and powdered sugar
METHOD
1. In a large bowl whisk flour and salt. Make a well in the center of the dry mixture and pour in yogurt and warm milk. Add sugar and fresh yeast. Mix well, then knead the dough for 10 minutes.
2. For the dough into a ball, set aside for 1 hour.
3. Cut the dough into 6 pieces and roll each into a ball. Cover and set aside for 30 minutes.
4. Roll out each flatbread and place it into a very hot skillet. Cook until bubbles start to appear on the surface, then flip and cook for 1-2 minutes more.
5. Serve topped with hazelnut cream and sprinkled with powdered sugar.
