Zebra Cookies


  • 200g (4/5 cup) of butter
  • 120g (1 cup) of cornstarch
  • 100ml (1/2 cup) of vegetable oil
  • 500g (3 1/2 cups) of flour
  • 120g (1 cup) powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp of cocoa powder


1. In a bowl mix together softened butter, cornstarch, oil, powdered sugar, and flour.

2. Divide the dough into two portions and add cocoa powder to the second.

3. Roll out each dough and press it to make many circles. Put circles one by one, and cover with plastic wrap, freeze for 1 hour.

4. Bake at 190°C/370°F for 15 minutes.
