Ingredients

For Roasting Peanuts

For Dal Paste

  • 2 cups Green Moong dal chilka (soaked for 6-7 hours) рдЫрд┐рд▓рдХреЗ рд╡рд╛рд▓реА рдореВрдВрдЧ рджрд╛рд▓

For Moong Dal Pakoda

  • Prepared Dal Paste, рддрдпрд╛рд░ рдХрд┐рдпрд╛ рд╣реБрдЖ рджрд╛рд▓ рдХрд╛ рдкреЗрд╕реНрдЯ
  • 1 inch Ginger (peeled & finely chopped) рдЕрджрд░рдХ
  • 3 no. Green chillies, finely chopped, рд╣рд░реА рдорд┐рд░реНрдЪ
  • 2-3 tbsp Coriander leaves, finely chopped, рдзрдирд┐рдпрд╛ рдкрддреНрддрд╛
  • тЕУ cup Roasted Peanut, roughly crushed, рднреБрдиреА рд╣реБрдИ рдореВрдВрдЧрдлрд▓реА
  • Salt to taste, рдирдордХ рд╕реНрд╡рд╛рджрдЕрдиреБрд╕рд╛рд░
  • Prepared Pakoda, рддрд▓реЗ рд╣реБрдП рдкрдХреМрдбрд╝реЗ

  • A pinch of Degi red chilli powder, рджреЗрдЧреА рд▓рд╛рд▓ рдорд┐рд░реНрдЪ рдкрд╛рдЙрдбрд░

For Peanut Chutney

  • 2-3 tbsp Roasted Peanut, рднреБрдиреА рд╣реБрдИ рдореВрдВрдЧрдлрд▓реА
  • few Coriander leaves, рдзрдирд┐рдпрд╛ рдкрддреНрддрд╛
  • ┬╜ inch Ginger (peeled & roughly sliced) рдЕрджрд░рдХ
  • 3-4 no.Green chillies, broken into half, рд╣рд░реА рдорд┐рд░реНрдЪ
  • 1 tbsp Tender Coriander stem, рдзрдирд┐рдпрд╛ рдХреЗ рдбрдВрдард▓
  • Salt to taste, рдирдордХ рд╕реНрд╡рд╛рджрдЕрдиреБрд╕рд╛рд░
  • 1 tbsp Oil, рддреЗрд▓
  • 1 tsp Sugar, рдЪреАрдиреА
  • 2 heaped tbsp Curd, beaten, рджрд╣реА

Other Ingredients

  • Oil for frying, рддреЗрд▓ рддрд▓рдиреЗ рдХреЗ рд▓рд┐рдП

For Curd Mixture

  • ┬╜ cup Curd, beaten, рджрд╣реА
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder, рдзрдирд┐рдпрд╛ рдкрд╛рдЙрдбрд░
  • 1 tsp Degi red chilli powder, рджреЗрдЧреА рд▓рд╛рд▓ рдорд┐рд░реНрдЪ рдкрд╛рдЙрдбрд░
  • ┬╜ tsp Turmeric powder, рд╣рд▓реНрджреА рдкрд╛рдЙрдбрд░

For Pakode Wali Kadhi

  • 1 tbsp Oil, рддреЗрд▓
  • ┬╜ tsp Cumin seeds, рдЬреАрд░рд╛
  • ┬╝ tsp Fennel seeds, рд╕реМрдВрдл
  • 2 no. Green chillies, roughly chopped, рд╣рд░реА рдорд┐рд░реНрдЪ
  • ┬╜ inch Ginger (peeled & roughly julienned) рдЕрджрд░рдХ
  • Prepared Curd Mixture, рддрдпрд╛рд░ рдХрд┐рдпрд╛ рд╣реБрдЖ рджрд╣реА рдХрд╛ рдорд┐рд╢реНрд░рдг
  • Salt to taste, рдирдордХ рд╕реНрд╡рд╛рджрдЕрдиреБрд╕рд╛рд░
  • Prepared Pakoda, рддрд▓реЗ рд╣реБрдП рдкрдХреМрдбрд╝реЗ

For Garnish

  • A pinch of degi red chilli powder, рджреЗрдЧреА рд▓рд╛рд▓ рдорд┐рд░реНрдЪ рдкрд╛рдЙрдбрд░
  • Coriander sprig, рдзрдирд┐рдпрд╛ рдкрддреНрддрд╛
  • Lemon wedge, рдиреАрдВрдмреВ рдХреА рдлрд╛рдВрдХ

Process

For Roasting Peanuts

  1. In a pan, add peanuts and dry roast them for 2-3 minutes on medium flame.
  2. Add ghee and saute it well, add salt to taste and mix it well.
  3. Transfer it to a tray or plate and keep it aside for further use.

For Dal Paste

  1. In a mixer grinder jar, add green moong dal and grind it coarsely.
  2. Keep it aside for further use.

For Moong Dal Pakoda

  1. In a parat, add prepared dal paste, ginger, green chillies, coriander leaves, roasted peanuts, salt to taste and mix it well.
  2. Make the small lemon sized balls, drop into hot oil and fry until golden in color on medium flame.
  3. Transfer it to a tray or plate and keep it aside for further use..
  4. In a bowl, add prepared pakoda, sprinkle chaat masala, degi red chili powder and toss it well.
  5. Transfer it into a serving dish along with prepared peanut chutney.
  6. Garnish it with degi red chili powder, coriander sprig and lemon wedges.

For Peanut Chutney

  1. In a mixer grinder jar, add roasted peanuts, coriander leaves, ginger, green chillies, coriander stems, salt to taste, oil and grind it into a fine smooth fine paste.
  2. Transfer it to a bowl, add sugar, curd and mix it well.
  3. Keep it aside for further use.

For Curd Mixture

  1. In a bowl, add curd, coriander powder, degi red chili powder, turmeric powder and mix it well.
  2. Keep it aside for further use.

For Pakode Wali Kadhi

  1. In a pan or kadai, heat oil, add cumin seeds, fennel seeds and let it splutter.
  2. Add green chillies, ginger and saute it for a minute.
  3. Add prepared curd mixture and let it cook for 2-3 minutes on high flame.
  4. Add salt to taste, prepare pakoda and cook it a while until thick.
  5. Transfer it into a serving bowl and garnish it with coriander sprig.
