Hot Dog Puff Pastry Rolls

INGREDIENTS

  • 140g of tomato paste
  • 130g of parmesan cheese
  • 8 sausages
  • Egg yolk

For the dough:

  • 330ml (1 2/5 cups) water
  • 500g (4 cups) of flour
  • 7g of dry yeast
  • 1/2 tsp of salt

METHOD

  1. In a bowl mix together lukewarm water with yeast, and add in flour and salt. Let the dough rise for 2 hours.
  2. Roll out the dough cut it into strips and fill with tomato paste, Parmesan cheese, and sausages.
  3. Transfer to the pan, and make the cuts on the top spread with egg wash.
  4. Bake at 180°C/360°F for 25 minutes.
