Fresh Strawberry Pound Cake

FOR THE GLAZE

  • 1/4 stick melted unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup fresh Strawberries chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

FOR THE CAKE

  • 1 box Duncan Hines strawberry cake mix
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 3oz. Box strawberry Jell-O dry mix
  • 3/4 cup Vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3/4 cup fresh Strawberries chopped

For the glaze: Combine ingredients listed for the glaze.

For the cake: Preheat oven to 325°. Lightly oil and flour a bundt pan, you can use non-stickcooking spray as well. Mix ingredients in a mix using a hand mixer for 3 minutes until the batter is smooth. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 1hour and 5 minutes. Turn out of pan and cool for another 10 minutes before adding the glaze. Glaze the cake while warn.
