Marry Me Chicken
Marry Me Chicken is a flavorful dish that typically combines juicy chicken with a creamy sauce. Here's a basic recipe to cook Marry Me Chicken:
Ingredients:
- 1 small handful of kale
- Thinly sliced boneless, skinless chicken breast
- Sun-dried tomatoes
- Heavy cream
- Chicken broth
- Salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika
- Vegetable oil
- Flour for dredging the chicken
- Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
- Prep the Ingredients:
- Pat dry the chicken breasts and season them with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Dredge the seasoned chicken in flour, shaking off any excess.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a small amount of vegetable oil. Once the oil is hot, add the chicken and cook until both sides are golden brown and the chicken is fully cooked. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
- Prepare the Sauce:
- In the same skillet, add the sun-dried tomatoes and chopped kale. Sauté them for a few minutes until the kale wilts and the tomatoes release their flavors.
- Pour in the chicken broth, scraping any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Let it simmer for a couple of minutes.
- Finish the Dish:
- Reduce the heat and pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine with the broth, kale, and tomatoes.
- Add the parmesan cheese and let it melt into the sauce, stirring continuously.
- Once the sauce thickens slightly, return the cooked chicken to the skillet, covering it with the sauce. Simmer for a few more minutes until the chicken is warmed through and the flavors meld together.
- Serve:
- Serve the Marry Me Chicken hot, garnished with additional parmesan cheese if desired.
This dish is usually served with sides like rice, pasta, or vegetables to complement the creamy, flavorful sauce. Adjust the seasoning according to your taste preference and enjoy this delightful and rich chicken dish.
