Pattice

  • OIL | рддреЗрд▓ 1 TBSP
  • CUMIN SEEDS | рдЬреАрд░рд╛ 1/2 TSP
  • GINGER | рдЕрджрд░рдХ 1 INCH (GRATED)
  • GREEN CHILLI | рд╣рд░реА рдорд┐рд░реНрдЪ 2 NOS. (CHOPPED)
  • POTATO | рдЖрд▓реВ 6 NOS. (BOILED)
  • SALT | рдирдордХ TO TASTE
  • TURMERIC POWDER | рд╣рд▓реНрджреА рдкрд╛рдЙрдбрд░ 1/2 TSP
  • GARAM MASALA | рдЧрд░рдо рдорд╕рд╛рд▓рд╛ A PINCH
  • FRESH CORIANDER | рд╣рд░рд╛ рдзрдирд┐рдпрд╛ A HANDFUL (CHOPPED)

Red garlic chutney

  • KASHMIRI RED CHILLI | рдХрд╢реНрдореАрд░реА рд▓рд╛рд▓ рдорд┐рд░реНрдЪ 15 NOS. (DESEEDED & SOAKED)
  • GARLIC | рд▓реЗрд╣рд╕реБрди 15-16 CLOVES
  • GREEN CHILLI | рд╣рд░реА рдорд┐рд░реНрдЪ 3 NOS.
  • WATER | рдкрд╛рдиреА AS REQUIRED
  • OIL | рддреЗрд▓ 2-3 TBSP
  • SALT | рдирдордХ TO TASTE
  • CUMIN POWDER | рдЬреАрд░рд╛ рдкрд╛рдЙрдбрд░ A PINCH
  • PAV BHAJI MASALA | рдкрд╛рд╡ рднрд╛рдЬреА рдорд╕рд╛рд▓рд╛ 1/2 TSP
  • LEMON JUICE | рдиреАрдВрдмреВ рдХрд╛ рд░рд╕ OF 1/2 A LEMON

Masala pav

  • BUTTER | рдордХреНрдЦрди AS REQUIRED
  • GARLIC CHUTNEY | рд▓реЗрд╣рд╕реБрди рдХреА рдЪрдЯрдиреА 2-3 TBSP
  • FRESH CORIANDER | рд╣рд░рд╛ рдзрдирд┐рдпрд╛
  • PAV | рдкрд╛рд╡

Method:

  1. Set a pan over high heat, once it gets hot add the oil & let it get hot.
  2. Add the cumin seeds, ginger & green chillies, stir well & then add potatoes along with salt, turmeric powder & garam masala & stir well.
  3. Further mash the potatoes using a potato masher & cook for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Lastly add the fresh coriander & mix well, then transfer the mixture into a bowl & cool it down completely.
  5. Once cooled, shape the patties & shallow fry them in butter until golden brown from both sides.
  6. To make the red garlic chutney, add the soaked kashmiri red chillies in a mixer grinder along with garlic, green chillies & water, grind it into a fine paste.
  7. Further heat the oil in a pan & add the red chilli paste, salt, cumin powder & pav bhaji masala, stir well & cook the chutney over medium flame for 3-4 minutes & then finally add the lemon juice & stir well, your red garlic chutney is ready, transfer it into a bowl & cool it down.
  8. Lastly to make masala pav, set a pan over high heat & add butter, once the butter melt add the red garlic chutney & fresh coriander, then place the sliced pav in the pan & coat them weтАЩll from both the sides, your masala pav is ready.
  9. To assemble the masala pattice Pav, place the pattice in the pav then place tomato & onion slices, then add chaat masala, nylon sev & fresh coriander.
  10. Your delicious, street style masala pattice pav is ready.
