Ingredients

Soup Base:

  • 1 cup water
  • ½ Tbsp dashi stock powder
  • 2 Tbsp mirin
  • 2 Tbsp sake
  • 3 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp sugar

Gyudon:

  • ½ large yellow onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 lb thinly sliced beef
  • ½ cup sliced green onions, divided
  • 3 cups cooked rice
  • 2 Tbsp fried garlic
  • 2 onsen eggs
  • 2 Tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 Tbsp chili crisp oil
