Tofu Fried Chicken
Turn tofu into the crispy and flavorful vegan fried chicken you’ve ever had. This Vegan Fried Chicken recipe will blow the minds of anyone who tries it.
Ingredients:
Tofu "Chicken"
- 400g or 2 blocks silken tofu (pressed, freezed and thawed for three cycles)
- 1 cup water
- 1 tsp vegetable powder or stock
- salt to taste
- brine for 6 hours or overnight
Dry Mixture:
- 1 cup flour
- 1 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1 1/2 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tbsp celery powder
- 4 tbsp smoked paprika
- 2 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp ginger powder
- 1 tbsp mustard powder
- 2 tsp vegetable bouillon powder
- salt and pepper to taste
Buttermilk:
- 1 cup soy milk
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
air fry at 200°C for 10-12 minutes, flip halfway
use an oil spray
