Instant Pot Applesauce
Simple joy of applesauce! Takes ten minutes to make and is SO good - it’s always gone within 24 hours. I like to say it’s for the girls but I often find myself eating it cold out of the fridge long after they’ve gone to bed.
- 7 apples, cut into chunks
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 cinnamon sticks
Place everything in the Instant Pot. Cook on high pressure for 5 minutes. I usually let it rest in the instant pot for 10 minutes before hybrid mashing/blending with the immersion blender.
Sometimes I add a little bit of sugar and a pinch of salt, but I just made a batch today with honeycrisp apples that was so sweet and it didn’t need anything at all.
