Ingredients:
- 4 slices of your favorite bread (sourdough, whole wheat, or white)
- 8 slices of crispy bacon
- 4 leaves of fresh lettuce (e.g., iceberg or romaine)
- 2 ripe tomatoes, sliced
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Start by cooking the bacon until it's crispy. You can do this on the stovetop or in the oven. Once cooked, place the bacon on a paper towel to drain excess grease.
- While the bacon is cooking, you can slice the tomatoes and wash the lettuce leaves. Ensure that the tomatoes are ripe and the lettuce is fresh.
