Easy Spatchcock Turkey

Learn the secrets to a perfectly juicy and evenly cooked spatchcock turkey in this easy-to-follow tutorial.

Ingredients:

  • Whole turkey
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Herbs (rosemary, thyme, or sage)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the turkey on a clean surface, breast side down.
  3. Using kitchen shears, cut along both sides of the backbone to remove it.
  4. Flip the turkey over and press down on the breastbone to flatten it.
  5. Rub the turkey with olive oil, and season with salt, pepper, and herbs.
  6. Place the turkey on a roasting pan, and roast in the preheated oven until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Let it rest for 15-20 minutes before carving.
