Easy Spatchcock Turkey
Learn the secrets to a perfectly juicy and evenly cooked spatchcock turkey in this easy-to-follow tutorial.
Ingredients:
- Whole turkey
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper
- Herbs (rosemary, thyme, or sage)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the turkey on a clean surface, breast side down.
- Using kitchen shears, cut along both sides of the backbone to remove it.
- Flip the turkey over and press down on the breastbone to flatten it.
- Rub the turkey with olive oil, and season with salt, pepper, and herbs.
- Place the turkey on a roasting pan, and roast in the preheated oven until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let it rest for 15-20 minutes before carving.
