Easy Breakfast Tortilla Pizza
With runny eggs, smoky ham, and gooey melted cheese, this quick meal is a satisfying way to start the day! Nicole shows you how to make an easy breakfast tortilla pizza using only five ingredients.
Ingredients:
- 1 large tortilla
- 1/4 cup tomato sauce or salsa
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend)
- 2 eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: diced bell peppers, tomatoes, cooked bacon, or spinach
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the tortilla on a baking sheet or a pizza stone.
- Spread tomato sauce or salsa evenly over the tortilla, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese over the sauce, covering the entire tortilla.
- Create two wells in the cheese and sauce to crack the eggs into. Be careful not to break the yolks.
- Season the eggs with salt and pepper.
- Add any additional toppings you like, such as diced bell peppers, tomatoes, cooked bacon, or spinach.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is melted, and the eggs are cooked to your liking.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a minute.
