Crispy Papaya Chips

Ingredients:
- 1 ripe papaya
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt, to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 200°F (95°C).
- Peel the papaya and cut it in half. Remove the seeds.
- Slice the papaya thinly using a mandoline slicer or a sharp knife. Thinner slices will result in crispier chips.
- Place the papaya slices in a bowl and toss them with lemon juice to prevent browning.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange the papaya slices in a single layer on the baking sheet, ensuring they do not overlap.
- Sprinkle salt over the papaya slices.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 2-3 hours or until the chips are dry and crispy. Flip the slices halfway through the baking time.
- Keep an eye on them in the last hour to prevent over-browning. The chips are ready when they are golden brown and crisp.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool completely. They will continue to crisp up as they cool.
- Once cooled, store the papaya chips in an airtight container.
