Ingredients:
- 500g boneless chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup thick yogurt
- 1 cup fresh cream (malai)
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon green chili paste
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons ghee or oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine yogurt, fresh cream, ginger-garlic paste, green chili paste, garam masala, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well to form a smooth marinade.
- Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well coated. Let it marinate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight in the refrigerator.
- Heat ghee or oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add the marinated chicken along with the marinade to the pan. Cook on medium heat until the chicken is fully cooked and the sauce thickens. Stir occasionally.
- Once the chicken is cooked, add lemon juice and mix well. Adjust salt and spices according to your taste.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
