Ingredients:

  • 500g boneless chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup thick yogurt
  • 1 cup fresh cream (malai)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon green chili paste
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons ghee or oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine yogurt, fresh cream, ginger-garlic paste, green chili paste, garam masala, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well to form a smooth marinade.
  2. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well coated. Let it marinate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight in the refrigerator.
  3. Heat ghee or oil in a pan over medium heat.
  4. Add the marinated chicken along with the marinade to the pan. Cook on medium heat until the chicken is fully cooked and the sauce thickens. Stir occasionally.
  5. Once the chicken is cooked, add lemon juice and mix well. Adjust salt and spices according to your taste.
  6. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
