Instructions:

Step 1: Preparing the Dough In a food processor, combine all-purpose flour, cold butter cubes, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped olives, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Pulse until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Step 2: Adding Water With the food processor running, gradually add cold water until the dough comes together. Be cautious not to overmix; just enough for the dough to form.

Step 3: Shaping the Biscuits Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface. Roll it into a log shape, about 2 inches in diameter. Wrap it in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Step 4: Preheating and Cutting Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the chilled dough log into rounds, approximately 1/4-inch thick.

Step 5: Baking Place the rounds on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.

Step 6: Cooling and Serving Allow the Cheese Olive Biscuits to cool on a wire rack before serving. These biscuits are perfect for snacking on their own or pairing with your favorite dips.

Cheese Olive Biscuits offer a savory twist on traditional biscuits, combining the richness of cheese with the brininess of olives for a flavorful treat. Enjoy them as a snack or as a delightful addition to your next gathering.
