Ingredients:

  • 500 grams mutton or chicken, cut into pieces (calories vary based on meat)
  • 2 large onions, finely sliced
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Cooking Steps:

Step 1: In a large pot, heat oil over medium heat. Add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown.

Step 2: Add ginger-garlic paste to the golden brown onions and sauté for a couple of minutes until fragrant.

Step 3: Introduce the meat pieces to the pot, stirring well to ensure they are coated with the onion and spice mixture.

Step 4: Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix thoroughly.

Step 5: Cover the pot and let the meat cook over medium heat until it's tender and the oil separates from the masala.

Step 6: Adjust the seasoning to your taste and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
