Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked holiday ham, diced (calories vary based on preparation)
  • 1 cup frozen peas and carrots (80 kcal)

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 3/4 cups chicken broth (16 kcal)
  • 2/3 cup milk (82 kcal)
  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts (calories vary based on brand)

Cooking Steps:

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 425°F (218°C).

Step 2: In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour, salt, pepper, and dried thyme until well combined.

Step 3: Gradually whisk in chicken broth and milk, cooking and stirring until the mixture thickens and comes to a boil.

Step 4: Add diced ham and frozen peas and carrots to the sauce, stirring until well coated. Remove from heat.
