Canele Tiramisu

Ingredients:

  1. 6 canelés (approx. 300 kcal)
  2. 1 cup strong brewed coffee
  3. 3 eggs
  4. 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  5. 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  6. Cocoa powder for dusting

Preparation Steps:

Step 1: Brew a strong cup of coffee and let it cool.
Step 2: Separate egg yolks from whites. In a bowl, whisk yolks with sugar until creamy.

Step 3: Incorporate mascarpone into the yolk mixture until smooth.
Step 4: In a separate bowl, whip egg whites until stiff peaks form.

Step 5: Gently fold the whipped whites into the mascarpone mixture.
Step 6: Dip canelés into cooled coffee, ensuring they absorb the liquid.

Step 7: Arrange a layer of soaked canelés in a serving dish.
Step 8: Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the canelés.

Step 9: Repeat the layers, finishing with a dusting of cocoa powder.
Step 10: Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
