  • 2 cups milk
  • 4 slices of bread, torn into small pieces
  • 1/4 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 2 tablespoons ghee (clarified butter)
  • Nuts for garnish (optional)

Steps:

  1. Prepare Suji Mixture: In a pan, heat ghee and roast suji until it turns golden brown and releases a nutty aroma.
  2. Add Bread: Toss torn bread pieces into the pan with roasted suji. Continue stirring until the bread absorbs the ghee and turns golden.
  3. Pour Milk: Gradually add milk to the pan, stirring continuously to avoid lumps. Mix until the suji and bread absorb the milk and form a creamy consistency.
  4. Sweeten It: Sprinkle sugar into the mixture, adjusting the sweetness according to your taste. Continue stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  5. Infuse Flavor: Add cardamom powder for a fragrant touch. Stir well to infuse the dish with aromatic flavors.
  6. Simmer and Serve: Let the mixture simmer on low heat until it thickens to your desired consistency. Once done, garnish with nuts if desired.
