Calories per serving (approximate): 120 kcal per cookie

Steps:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large bowl, cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add Eggs and Vanilla: Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Mix Batter: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Form Cookie Dough Balls: Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll into balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each.
  7. Bake: Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are set. Remove from the oven and press marshmallow bits into the center of each cookie.
  8. Cool and Enjoy: Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack. The marshmallows will slightly melt, creating a gooey and delightful center.
  9. Serve: Serve these Hot Chocolate Cookies with a cup of hot cocoa or your favorite winter beverage.

Note: Customize your Hot Chocolate Cookies by adding crushed peppermint, drizzling with chocolate, or sprinkling with powdered sugar for a festive touch.
