Ingredients:
- For the Dough:
- 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons finely ground coffee

- For the Filling:
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 tablespoons finely ground coffee
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- For the Mocha Glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons brewed espresso
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Cooking Steps:
- In a bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine sugar, softened butter, salt, flour, and ground coffee. Pour in the yeast mixture and knead until a smooth dough forms.
- Allow the dough to rise in a covered bowl until doubled in size.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Brush melted butter over the surface.
- Mix brown sugar, ground coffee, and cinnamon for the filling. Sprinkle evenly over the dough.
- Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut into even slices.
- Place the slices in a greased baking dish, allowing them to rise again.
- Bake until golden brown.
- For the mocha glaze, whisk together powdered sugar, cocoa powder, brewed espresso, and vanilla extract. Drizzle over the warm rolls.
