Home-Baked Sourdough Bread
Ingredients:
- 3 cups bread flour
- 1 1/2 cups active sourdough starter
- 1 1/4 cups lukewarm water
- 2 teaspoons salt
Cooking Steps:
Step 1: Activate the Starter In a bowl, combine sourdough starter with lukewarm water. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until it becomes active and bubbly.
Step 2: Mix Ingredients In a large mixing bowl, combine bread flour and salt. Add the activated sourdough starter mixture. Mix until a shaggy dough forms.

Step 6: Preheat and Bake Preheat your oven and a Dutch oven at 450°F (230°C). Carefully transfer the dough into the preheated Dutch oven, cover, and bake for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
