Puff Pastry Christmas Trees
Ingredients:
- Puff pastry sheets (2 sheets, ~1200 kcal)
- Nutella or your favorite jam for filling (1/2 cup)
- Powdered sugar for dusting
- Optional: Colored sugar or edible glitter for decoration
Cooking Steps:
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2: Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut them into Christmas tree shapes using a template or freehand.
Step 3: Spread a thin layer of Nutella or jam on half of the tree shapes, leaving a border around the edges.
Step 4: Place the remaining tree shapes on top of the filled ones, creating "sandwiches."
Step 5: Use a fork to seal the edges of each tree.
Step 6: Place the trees on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
Step 7: Allow the trees to cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar.
Step 8: Optionally, decorate with colored sugar or edible glitter for a festive touch.
Step 9: Arrange your Puff Pastry Christmas Trees on a serving platter and watch them disappear as your guests enjoy these edible holiday delights.
