Delicious Sesame Jaggery Barfi

Ingredients:

  • Sesame seeds (1 cup, 800 kcal)
  • Jaggery (1 cup, 350 kcal)
  • Ghee (2 tablespoons, 240 kcal)
  • Cardamom powder (1/2 teaspoon)

Steps:

Step 1: Dry roast sesame seeds until golden brown and set aside.

Step 2: In a pan, melt ghee and add grated jaggery. Stir until the jaggery melts and forms a syrup.

Step 3: Add roasted sesame seeds to the jaggery syrup and mix well.

Step 4: Continue cooking until the mixture thickens and starts leaving the sides of the pan.

Step 5: Add cardamom powder for flavor and mix.

Step 6: Transfer the mixture to a greased plate and spread it evenly.

Step 7: Allow it to cool and set, then cut into desired shapes.

Step 8: Til Gud Barfi is ready to be enjoyed as a festive and nutritious treat.
