Ingredients:

For the Broken Glass:

  1. Assorted flavored gelatin (various colors)
  2. Water
  3. Sugar

For the Cake:

  1. 2 cups all-purpose flour
  2. 2 cups granulated sugar
  3. 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  4. 4 large eggs
  5. 1 cup buttermilk
  6. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  7. 1 teaspoon baking powder
  8. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  9. Pinch of salt

For the Frosting:

  1. 2 cups heavy cream
  2. 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  3. Mixed fruits for garnish

Cooking Steps:

Broken Glass:

  1. Prepare gelatin according to package instructions.
  2. Pour each gelatin flavor into separate trays and let them set.
  3. Once set, cut the gelatin into irregular shapes resembling broken glass.

Cake:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a rectangular cake pan.
