Instant & Healthy Soft Dosa & Spicy Chutney


  1. 1 cup rice flour (120 kcal)
  2. 1/2 cup urad dal flour (85 kcal)
  3. 1/4 cup semolina (60 kcal)
  4. 1 cup buttermilk (98 kcal)
  5. 1/2 tsp baking soda
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Oil for cooking

Spicy Chutney:

  1. 2 tomatoes (44 kcal)
  2. 2 red chilies
  3. 1/2 cup fresh coriander leaves
  4. 1/4 cup grated coconut (50 kcal)
  5. 1 tsp mustard seeds
  6. Salt to taste
  7. 1 tbsp oil

Cooking Steps:


  1. In a bowl, combine rice flour, urad dal flour, semolina, buttermilk, baking soda, and salt.
  2. Mix to form a smooth batter. Let it rest for 15 minutes.
  3. Heat a non-stick pan, pour a ladle of batter, spread it into a thin circle, and cook until golden brown.
  4. Flip and cook the other side. Repeat for the remaining batter.

Spicy Chutney:

  1. In a pan, heat oil, add mustard seeds, and let them splutter.
  2. Add chopped tomatoes, red chilies, and sauté until tomatoes soften.
  3. Add grated coconut, coriander leaves, and salt. Cook for a few more minutes.
  4. Blend the mixture into a smooth chutney.
